This wedding gift from the Parliament of Monaco (National Council) to Princess Grace was authentically picked out by Prince Rainier. After his displeasure for the original necklace selected by the eldest member of the council, he personally took a six-hour train ride to one of the finest jewelry stores in Paris. There he found the perfect Parliament Tribute Necklace that coincidentally greatly resembled the necklace that Grace Kelly wore in the movie, "To Catch a Thief". It was during their engagement that this film was shot partly in Monaco, and mostly in Hollywood and where the romantic Prince Rainier rented a villa for the duration. Our rendering of the Parliament's Tribute necklace has an inner measurement of 16 inches and is rhodium plated with Swarovski crystals. Its convertible design allows for one strand to be removed for a less formal look. This removable strand may also be worn as a bracelet!
