This one-of-a-kind pendant was designed and gifted to Princess Grace by Jacques Cousteau, head of Monaco's Oceanographic Society and Museum. It was his way of honoring her for invigorating tourism in Monaco and gaining the Institute's international notoriety. Like the original, our rendering is reversible with one side more formal than the other. The formal side is covered in round blue and clear Swarovski crystals to represent a large blue wave, tortoise, and a whale tail. The reverse side is a series of gold waves with larger clear crystals that sparkle to symbolize the purity of the sea. The chain and pendant are both 18k gold plated and the length of the necklace is 21 inches plus includes a two-inch extender.
